Rock Climbing at the Park

Today the boys were off school, so we did a picnic at the park with friends. Hiking, skateboards, skooters, exploring, bug finding...and rock climbing...they had a great day!!!

For the first time Anthony made Cookies all by himself. He preheated the oven, followed the recipe, set the timer, and Voila!!! oops ... he did learn about spacing out the cookies...so he called his creation....Chocolate Cookie Pizza!

For Anthony's Birthday we did a "Kids Casino Night"

Welcome to the The Game Room

The kids had a great time. Some parents asked about kids and gambling??? I countered with how its actually educational. The kids are practicing math on several different levels and critical thinking...the best part...they had fun doing it!!! I have several parents wanting to use this Idea for a party theme...its great for those preteens who are growing out of the regular party themes.

Less than a week till school starts!!!!

Time for backpacks, haircuts, and getting them to go to bed earlier (haha) we are working on that..... by having the boys get up early this morning..... I got them up at 7:30. Wish us luck!

A trip to the Beach before Anthony goes to Florida

Anthony leaves for Florida this week to visit family. So his Amah wanted him to go to the local beach to really have a sence of the difference between the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans. He's soo excited.

A Day at Griffith Park Observatory Feb 14th

Vincent went to Griffith Park with Mom, Aunt Karen, Shannon and Sean (Anthony was having a blast in Cal City) He saw the show - "Water was Life" and looked at the huge telescope.

Vincent's Birthday Party

Vincent had a sleepover for his 8th Birthday Party...7 friends came to celebrate...4 spent the night...they played soldier, video games...(and of course it was quiet for 30 minutes during the new episode of "Star Wars The Clone Wars" on Cartoon Network.) Then more Video Games, Pillow fight, and For a movie...Vincent chose "Gremlins" The Boys enjoyed Pizza, Cake, Chips, Skittles(movie candy) In the morning they woke up to Eggs, Pancakes, Bacon, cereal on the Patio...it was a nice sunny morning.. Vincent after Breakfast had a large box arrive from Neveda..It contained serveral Halo figures...(including one for Anthony) : ) The boys enjoyed the packing snow in the kitchen(It covered to whole floor)..The friends stayed till after Lunch. Vincent had a great Birthday!!!!
